Hey Everyone! Are you guys ready to take a jog down memory lane? Here we go!
This week last year: 9th-15th
So as you remember The fist couple days there we did a lot of learning about NYC. This first short clip is when the entire project was together, we went to the Rockefeller Center. This is what we saw hen we reached the Top of the Rock.
We also did some ice breaker group activities back at NYCAMS. Remember how we had to make up those skits based on random lines we got from staff? Yeah well this is the group i was in and you can see for your self how ridiculous we look having fun.
i kinda wish i had the other groups on flim too everyone was all to funny!
These are the only two videos I had for that first week we were there, but i have a lot more video for the weeks following, so stay tuned!

-Life has been all kinds of uncertain, but thanks to God who is guiding me through it
-I'm living in Davie FL [30 minutes outside of Miami]
- I've been out of school for a year now, and plan to start grad school in August for fine art.
- I've been working with my churches youth group as a leader and mentor for high school girls
Oh the memories! I loved hearing all the laughter in the second video. I'm pretty sure that's all we did all summer long! Thanks again for starting this Joanna. :)
Update for 2k10:
- graduated in December & started my own photography business
- work full time @ UCF in a financial office since January (& have decided I'm not made for office life)
- also since January, work for another photography company (Spectacle Photo) as a back-up
- applied to several places these past few months & heard back from Disney
Currently: I'm in my final days at UCF & training at Disney to be a Magic Kingdom Photographer. Spectacle Photo just made me their primary wedding photographer & my business has grown that I'm booked through to next May. Photography allows me to travel almost every other weekend, sometimes hard, but I see great friends & places. Still volunteering w/the youth group & absolutely loving it. Also involved with a homeless ministry, it's always an adventure spending time w/them. Enjoying life & looking forward to new adventures!
Certainly exciting & overwhelming at times, but I'm thankful for the journey God has brought me on so far. His hand has been so evident through it all. May he receive all the glory, honor & praise :)
oh my goodness this makes me miss everything even more! we were in that crazy room so freakin much lol! thanks so much joanna! i miss you trying to put crap threw are lil hole in to are room!
-i am entering my final yr of school, double majoring in graphic design and drawing
-still doing my clothing company and screen printing
-i learned how to sew when we got home last year and have been making awesomeness ever since
-my life is def is uncertain right now, i dnt know where im going, wut ill be doing, r who i will be doing it with after i graduate.
-im also working on an hr documentary threw an non profit called resolve Uganda
wow.. these videos bring back so many memories! Thank Joanna for videoing all this so we can relive our summer together!! I miss New York and all of you so much, I wish I lived closer so that see you all would an easier thing to do!
I can't believe its been a year, time has gone so fast and so many things have happened this past year.
- I just graduated SJSU with a major in Advertising and a minor in Photography.
- This past year has been exciting but challenging art wise for me, I have learned a ton about graphic design and other areas and I am just finishing a student graphic design position on campus.
- I have just recently (over this last semester) learned the art of glass blowing and web design and have fallen in love with both.. to the point of maybe going back to school to study one of these subjects.
- After months of praying and thinking, I have decided to do a Full-Time Internship with Campus Crusade on SJSU campus. I am super excited and nervous, but trusting in God, because I have to raise a full-time salary for the next year.
- I am currently in San Jose, working as a Fitness Instructor and I am using my summer to raise support working.
- As for the future I too am uncertain of what I am doing next or where God will take me, but I am excited for it!

What a rush of excitement it is to hear about everyone's years! I am truly blessed to know you all and am beside myself with love for you all!
This year in a nutshell:
- I did not graduate...one more year left!
- I continued to lead a sophomore guys Bible study and helped to start a new music building Bible study that resulted in a freshman receiving Christ! Praise the Lord!
- I was in a musical production at the University...what a blast!
- I am still planning on teaching high school choir and am SO excited about it! (I have been compared to the character Mr. Schuester from Glee more times than I can count this year.)
What a year it has been! I'm looking foward to traveling to Ethiopia for a month this summer on another Summer Project! God is good. I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with your friendship!
